The voluntary work scheme is accessible to all full-time employees who have been with Foundation IT for more than a year. At the beginning of each year 6 extra days are added to the standard holiday entitlement that can be used to undertake voluntary work only. In this way it is hoped to encourage our employees to get involved in community projects. This example is given as an indication of how we look to do things differently - but in a more meaningful manner than the norm.
