VMware have released Apple MAC, Kindle Fire (Android) and Linux clients under their Tech Preview release. VMware initially focused their efforts on the popular Apple iPAD and have recently released an update to this client to enable an external display to be connected for those using an iPAD 2. With the continued demand of people using their own devices to connect securely to corporate applications, VMware are now starting to port the PCoIP protocol across to other platforms. The MAC has been on many wish lists for a while, and no doubt some new shiny devices will be appearing on peoples desks for the start to 2012.
