Foundation IT is delighted to announce the award of an Enterprise Backup solution for Europe's leading supplier of automotive business intelligence across 28 countries.
After investigation into an outsourced backup arrangement proved to be cost prohibitive, the client turned to Foundation IT to recommend a scalable and simple to manage backup solution for around 60 virtual machines running on VMware. A combination of Symantec Backup Exec 2010 and an Exagrid Disk Array with de-duplication technology will be used, with long term retention of data sent to tape.
